
One problem with the Club Tavern is that it's set up with the stage a short flight of stairs up from the main level. THis effectively splits the crowd into two distinct factions - the ones who are listening to the band and the ones who are talking to one another. If it's a louder, more rockin' show, that's no problem, if you're up by the stage, you're oblivious to the crowd below. Autumn Defense's quieter, more pop-stylie tunes had to compete, though, which was too bad. At one point John even "shushed" the crowd.
All in all, i'm still glad I went, should've gone by meself, tho...
