In my "non-UT/Son Volt/Wilco/B-Rox" category:

1. Grace---Jeff Buckley (probably the best album recorded that decade, according to me)
2. Car Wheels on a Gravel Road--Lucinda Williams
3. Unchained--Johnny Cash
4. Cure for Pain--Morphine (February 2000 yeilded the best Morphine album, "The Night")
5. The Low End Theory--A Tribe Called Quest

I can pick any of these up at any time and give them a spin and they sound as good to me now as they did then. Even better sometimes.

It's a GREAT record, but there's A LOT of competition. Don't get too depressed.

Hey! The Feelies released "The Good Earth" in 1986. A good record, nonetheless.
