Wow, you just revealed yourself! You wrote
Quote:
eleven paragraphs saying the same fucking thing
, yet you say now you didn't read it?
Counted the paragraphs.
How can you say that it is shit if you haven't read it?
After four paragraghs, could tell from your tone that you're a whiner.
Just admit it, you read one line that turned you off and moved on. That you're a close minded individual.
Closed-mouthed: yes. Close-minded: no.
ust so I have an idea, can you tell me what other artists you listen to
Vulgar Boatmen, Joel R.L. Phelps and the Downer Trio, Richard Buckner, etc

Just so I have an idea, can you tell me what other artists you listen to besides the following: Wilco, Uncle Tupelo, Jay Farrar or Son Volt? I'm just interested.

cowboydown wrote:bhickmans your review is a joke. Stopped reading this tripe after para 4. You've just rehashed what every critic on the planet rehashes: along with a bunch of cliches: 'Allow me to digress....'? Like I said no need to go further here.

Didn't do your homework that's evident early on. Thanks for playing try again.

Yawn.....
Well then, please school me. How am I wrong specifically? It's one thing to not agree with the review, but it's quite another to offer up empty criticism. I've been following Farrar since 1994. I admit to not going back to the inception of Tupelo, but not everyone is on board right from jump, now are they?

keep the dave matthews...i'll stick with jay.
I despise Dave Matthews frankly. I like Jay's work with Uncle Tupelo...but his solo stuff since then has just left me cold.
