Anodyne is my fave UT album. Probably one of my top ten albums ever.

Anodyne is a fucking awesome album. Slate, Chickamauga, Anodyne, 15 Keys, New madrid, Wherever - this album is...it's just...gorgeous.

Komets-

Don't forget No Depression, especially if you like Still Feel Gone.

Great stuff.

For me, all this stuff is brand new. I bought Anodyne, Still Feel Gone, and March 16-20, 1992 all at the same time. I am thrilled that I discovered Jay's music about six months ago.

I love UT's sound, but I must say, I like Jay's songs a lot more than Tweedy's. Don't get me wrong, he has some good ones, but Jay seems to make those albums for me.

Some of my favorite UT songs so far are Steal the Crumbs, Anodyne, New Madrid, Acuff-Rose, Atmoic Power, Sandusky, Still be around, fall down easy, punch drunk, and true to life.

So far, Still Feel Gone is the album I like the most followed by Anodyne.

Chickamauga would be a great tune if it didn't have that annoying, pointless guitar solo at the end....
Yea, completely useless that annoying, pointless solo, I don't understand why until a few days ago I reckoned it as one my fav's.... I guess one review can change your life after all...

I love the production work on Anodyne. The way the drums sound are awesome! 8) Brian Paulson does it again :)
Max Johnston`s contribution to the record is worth mentioning too.

Sounds like a conversation between Jay and Jeff. No Sense In Lovin' is one of Tweedy's best. Amazing that most of it was done live....talk about a tight band.
