he's probably not even from Saratoga and like the geek he seems to be, he's most likely perusing the phone book now to save face.

We should really saddle up for a beer sometime!!!
All right, Jay, top 5 Saratoga bars. I've spent some time up there so I'll go first:
5- tie. Gaffney's/Peabodys
4. Desperate Annie's
3. La La's (RIP) they had david allen coe on the juke!)
2. Icehouse(?) not sure of the name, it looks like, no it is, an old garage.
1. E. O'Dwyer's. hands down without question, #1 bar in Saratoga for many reasons

HM- to the now defunct Aiko's , the 1st saratoga bar I was ever in when my buddy moved up there. and Clancy's, PBR cans in the cooler!

That town does not know how to milk their 15 minutes; there was nothing in the way of tacky souvenirs. Ridgewood Ranch is a very beautiful place, though, so that was nice to drive through. A church owns it and they give the occasional walking tour since people are now wanting to visit but they were not doing this the day I was there.
