Jay's next move.......
Re: Jay's next move.......
Regardless if you like him or not Isbell is doing a smart thing by releasing live shows on band camp.
I don’t perceive that as selling out. I bet Jay has a ton of live recordings of either Solo or SV shows he could easily release and we would eat it up.
Bandcamp is free until you use the pro version come on man

I love this, thanks Derek!derekf wrote: ↑Tue Jun 09, 2020 2:10 pmGreat idea. I have several of these shows as I'm sure so do most of you. Here's one I've always enjoyed. It sounds like a sound board recording and is split into two files.

Re: Jay's next move.......
Well Jay could generate some income by posting a few live SV shows for sale. Just sayin’.

i could handle another LP of buzzy, charged rocking action a la the highlights of Notes of Blue.

With the amount of time I imagine Jay has on his hands, I’m excited about an epic, 100-minute double disc record entitled something like ‘Lockdown in the Lou.’unchartedthickets wrote: ↑Tue May 05, 2020 10:08 amSome new tunes would be nice. It’s a living on one hand and a love on the other. We’re all facing the same dilemma in a way but, artists and their fans are still bound. Would like to know what Jay is up to too.

Maybe an at-home concert? That'd be cool, but maybe not doable for a self-proclaimed luddite...
