A guy came over to my house one night to join an acoustic jam with me and the guy who sings in my band. Busted out a killer Hit Me Baby One More Time. Good songs will translate. It's amazing.dEvRoNiKa wrote:Covers.
Currently working on an electric-country version of Lady Gaga's "Telephone". I find this fun. It's quite soulful if you slow it down by half and don't sing all the "eh eh eh eh eh's". I'm tackling Brittney Spears "1-2-3" next, I think. Hopefully nobody knows what I'm talking about. I am subjected to a lot of pop-hits on a regular basis, so I'm trying to polish some turds for the sake of entertainment.
My fingers hurt!! HOORAY!! I haven't played my guitars since we moved in August. Today ends that horrific dry-spell and now the music begins again.
Funny story, too, we figured out that we went to the same high school in Pennsylvania (I'm in CA now). He was from a big family so I knew some of his cousins.
I also appreciate the lack of playing - it's been tough with the second addition. Yep, if I didn't post it we've got another little girl, Chloe. She's six months old as of Saturday.
