Like I said earlier, the exhorbitant and unnecessary ticket prices made me just say no to neil in Clearwater. The 16-18 song sets at those prices are what really cinched it.

It comes off to me as very expensive demos. The songs sound like they need to be further developed. Also, Neil should have brought on The Horse for this project. Lanois with Billy, Ralph, & Poncho would be an absolute fuckin' hoot.

hmmm...fancy demos. i'll call it a Neil and Lanois project then. i'm sure if would be a hoot with the other players but probably not feasible with the everyone's schedule. there's still room for overdubbing for sure. for me it's another Neil experiment that's worth documenting and releasing to the world.

Haven't taken much notice of it, but yea, I got Chrome Dreams from someone on this board many years ago, still have it some place. Sometimes you gotta wonder, the stuff that slips past your nose or around your ears.

Doctor- Have you ever heard "River of Pride"? An early version of "White Line" with Crazy Horse.... amazing! You can find it on You Tube. Neil and the Horse at their absolute best! ....Can't wait til Neil releases Toast, the CH version of Are You Passionate.

Haven't given Le Noise a listen, but the question so far is none. Ragged Glory is the best he's made after Rust Never Sleeps however.

I saw the first two nights of the Greendale tour in the US, and most people just didn't get it...and it didn't help that the radio stations plugged the show as a greatest hits package.

I saw Neil solo in Clearwater last night and he was mag-fucking-nificent.

I liked the LeNoise songs better live then on the album.

Two of my favorites after Harvest Moon -Mirror Ball, the album he recorded with Pearl Jam and Broken Arrow with Crazy Horse. I wonder if David Briggs was around what his recent offerings would sound like. His last few releases for me have been one listen and back on the shelf. I didn't buy Fork in the Road and I'm not going anywhere near Le Noise either.
