My copy of Greendale includes the bonus dvd: live at vicar st. which is Neil performing the entire album solo. Tremendous performance.Mark Spencer wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-9nlETnSUI

I am hot and cold with Le Noise. Some of the sounds they create on the guitar are interesting. I'm not crazy about the songs though. The lyrics are pretty weak. Also, they would be better served with a full band.

Most certainly Greendale. Of course he has Crazy Horse backing him. And the only song off of Are You Passionate that bears repeated listening is the single tune with, yep, Crazy Horse.
I'm just starting to listen to the new one per the link. First impression is that Lanois is a bit full of himself, but then I like a bit of humility.

Which Neil Young album (and not just a couple songs off them) since Harvest Moon can really bear repeated listening, or being listened to more than once?
Really?
