Jay on lead, Gibbard harmonizing

Wine is salt here
This tidal wave kitchen

Engines of Russia
and your soft talk

You ain't just whistling for sanity
You ain't just wasting time

Got the email about the download at work today. Been champing at the bit all day waiting to get home and take it in. Finally got home and got to listen to it. Wow. Great stuff. For whatever it's worth, my wife - who loves Trace and much of Jay's work, but doesn't like all of Jay/Son Volt - thinks this is the best album she's heard all year. Really digging Gibbard's voice on some of these. Never been able to get into Death Cab. May have to try harder now. Maybe it's just these type of songs. But this is great, great stuff.

Is it format specific? If I pre-order the vinyl, will I "possibly" get the mp3 version of the album today?

Just got an email as I ordered mine with the promised 2 week early delivery -
Thank you for pre-ordering One Fast Move Or I'm Gone: Kerouac's Big Sur.
Unfortunately due to production issues we are not able to ship your package
2 weeks early as we had promised. We are still working towards getting you
the package as soon as it's complete. In the meantime we would like to
offer you a free download of the album now so you may enjoy the music
early.

I am not posting the link, but if you want it early - order it and possibly get the full album today.

Song Previews for "One Fast Move"?

Post by pagan roads »

I have heard "These Roads Don't Move" on the NPR site (love it by the way); just curious if anyone has links to sites previewing any other songs from the album. And yes, I am talking about legitimate song previews, not leaks of the album!! October 20th seems too far away....
