I still havent heard the album since I listened to the stream several weeks ago and was less than impressed...This doesnt do much to change my opinion...But like I have with every Son Volt album, I am sure I will be at my local record store next tuesday, with cash in hand. I havent been this unenthusiastic about a record release since REM's Around the Sun.
Now that other album that drops the following tuesday, on the other hand...
Sometimes I think I'm the only REM fan on earth who really likes Around the Sun.
Anyone know who the other two guys were? Both on the left from Stirratt.
Loved the suits. The song was somewhat pedestrian but I still enjoyed it. Heck, it's Wilco. They're better than 99% of the rest of the bands playing out there.
I was wondering what had happened to Mike Mills' circa-Monster era wardrobe. I hear the piano opening and I expect to hear Tom Petty yowling out Jammin' Me.

Not only is it on the album, but I believe it's the first single....Ever since JB's death, I have been very apathetic toward's Wilco...I may not even buy the damn thing now.
I am stunned. What an absolute throw-away of a song. Repetitious as can be. I couldn't even finish watching-listening to the clip. I sure hope that the new album isn't like this. In fact I secretly hope this track didn't make the album!
