Ive always read good things, never heard anything on it though.
Ahh, you got the pic right then...
anyway...awesome, awesome album. I learned about him after hearing Dave Alvin cover the title track and then I tracked it down via the innerweb. Well worth a listen.
This is a must have. I always read good stuff about it too, finally scored it a couple of years ago, its one of the best music chances I ever took.Tokyo Fan wrote:How do you like this album? I have never heard it...and find it amusing, since there's just been a thread about Sgt. Pepper's, that amazon calls this Gene Clark's "Sergeant Pepper." I have Echoes and Two Sides to Every Story, and then Dillard and Clark (and NEED to re-obtain So Rebellious a Lover (with Carla Olson)...but these albums don't have a single track that appears on this 1974 album.Texas Tom wrote:
Honestly, totally go and get it. It takes a wee while to appreciate it but it is well worth it. That and the Fantastic Expedition Of Dillard and Clark. White Light is also well worth anyone's time.Tokyo Fan wrote:How do you like this album? I have never heard it...and find it amusing, since there's just been a thread about Sgt.
