I recently bought an album where the credits refere to a "thythm guitar." What the heck is that?

Thanks!
In all honesty, it sounds like an inside joke that none of us will ever get, unless one of us knows Matthew Sweet.

Kinda like Neverwonagrammy refering to a Bonanzinga guitar as a Bone and zinger!

First of all, thank you for making me aware of the term "rhythm guitar." I hadn't run across that one before. The link was especially helpful! Thanks again.

In my defense, it is written that way probably 20 different times, so I thought maybe there was such a thing. The album is Matthew Sweet's "Girlfriend" if you don't believe me and want to check it out.

Have a great weekend!

I think Jay (not that one) has already caught his limit.

That didn't take long.

You sure it's not written "rhythm guitar"?
