Wow! That would be something ... but Tom would kill me with his service revolver. It's bad enough that Louisville is over. St. Louis would be acid in the wound.
No doubt. I would love to hit the B-Rox acoustic and SV the following night, but if these ass monkeys can't make a single show in Louisville, there is no hope for St Louie...

And damn I wanted that BBQ....

If you're looking for a good pub burger try Seamas McDaniel's in Dogtown - it's only about three miles from the Paegent and worth the trip. There are of course a lot of restaurants and bars in UCity (including Cicero's of UT fame, although it's moved) and in Soulard. It sounds like your palatte might be more inclined to a nice steak place. There are a lot of more expensive and fancy type restaurants in downtown Clayton, about a ten minute drive from the Pagaent.

I will make one warning, I'm a transplant here and St. Louis style pizza is TERRIBLE. Don't try it, you'll regret it.

It's sort of touristy, but Blueberry Hill is a St. Louis institution, and a short walk to The Pageant. You could literally spend hours in the bar gawking at the memorabilia, plus they serve Schalfly products. :D

I would highly recommend coming in on Friday and Seeing the Bottle Rockets in their very first all acoustic shows. Playing at my good friends venue Lucas School House in St. Louis. They are taping the show for possibel live release.. Very intimate show with 100 capacity..it will sell out quick..

Recommendations for brew pubs..cab ride from the Venue..Schlafly Bottle Works in Maplewood. in U. City where the Pagaent is many bars and restaraunts..I would recommend Riddles Penultimate Wine Bar..great food..use alot of regional ingredients...

Have fun.....
Hey man, thanks for the info. Looking forward to checking out St. Louis.
