H-Town REPRESENTIN', HOLLA!?

Continental Club in Houston is at least, perhaps almost exactly "half as good" as the one in Austin. Well no - Actually it's almost exactly as cool, it's just harder to get anyone truly awesome to play there (because it's Houston and as we both know, Houston kinda blows, musically).
I hope they (The Continental) have improved the sound some - the last couple of times I've been, the sound has not been 100%. Alas - It's a great vibe, feels very much like the Austin Continental. Regardless ... it will be glorious.

It's been NINE YEARS since the likes of Jayfers and / or Son Volt have played here. Here's hoping that this show ends the legendary, epic and horrible Houston/Farrar dry-spell once and for all.

Son Volt coming to Houston. The first good news I've had since I moved to this god forsaken town in December. If the Continental Club in H-town is half as good as the original in Austin, this could be one amazing show.

They have not played here since, I don't know ... '99 Something insane.

Jay Farrar (solo) never played Houston either - He played Austin lots, but never Houston. Son Volt 2.0 has not played Houston at all ever.

They absolutely should add some Memphis or Jackson. If not - ROAD TRIP.
