Chances are your statement is utter bullshit. I'm as guilty as anybody of goofy off-topic posts. I was just using an extreme example to demonstrate a point. I don't know what it takes to get banned and I'm not looking for trouble from the trousersnake clan. But if you don't like Jay's music, I wonder why you're here. Your best posts have always been sans vulgarity though.

Gotta disagree with you there TS&L...Jay is not the most exciting guy, but his albums and general work in the last couple of years have been great, at least to me. We all take something out of posting on here; to each his own.

I personally feel that when somebody goes out of his way to take somebody on for personal reasons, insult most of the posters, and THEN goes back to another website to brag about his alleged "conquests", then a line has to be drawn. Seems as if this guy has done this on multiple websites..."raided" them, caused a bunch of crap and then left, all the while bragging about it on another board. Thats the difference, at least to me. Guys like Bucky WANT to be banned. Thats part of the game.

You may have a point Sticky. Maybe this board should be only about Jay and his music. Guess what? That would leave you with ten posts a month, maybe 20 when a new album comes out. The guy is boring on stage, deathly boring interviews (thing Harrison Ford sedated), and has put out mediocre music in the last few years. So if you take away the Bucky, TSNL, goofy-dirty-off topic posts, there isnt a whole lot here. So fuck it. Either we post shit and there are dirty words on here, or we post ONLY Jay stuff and there isnt anything to read on here.

"Censoring" the over-the-line idiots comes with the territory on any message board. Its not facism...give me a break. However, I don't think Sticky or anybody else is saying that EVERYONE or even some people will be censored. There has to be some control when people get out of line, mostly because its bad business for the band when fans can't come to their website to meet up, exchange boots, or organize trips to shows.

Now he's running around to different computers trying to log back on. Pretty sad. He also runs a Wilco message board called "How To Fight Loneliness" where, often times, he posts and answers himself repeatedly. He also asked all his buddies over there to come here and wreck the place.

Yeah, he gave me discs before, go research, I even created a thread called "Board Generosity" b/c of Bucky and partroy. I enjoyed Buck's sense of humor on the board, I'm a smartass myself and can take a joke. Try thinking a little harder the Thinker, with your head that is.....not your ass.
