First part: You don't know what the hell you're talking about.

Just wanted to say that.

Second part: OK. But no 29 or 24 or even 19 hour-long drives, please, darling. Not doing that again. Or maybe we can just fly in, like in those dreams I keep on having, only then we'll find something to drive out and about in.

You left the TV on, didn't you?

I ain't never had nobody like you before. (NOT sabotaging this thread!)
I'm looking forward to the day I can drive to New Jersey, all the way. They're building that tunnel you know!

Please please, back to your pretty little topic... ooooh Mark Ward... ooooh..

I'm waiting to pick it up when I go to the states in a few days. I've listened to some of it on NPR, though, and it sounds pretty good, but a bit, um, happy I almost want to say. But that's not quite it either. I love the fact that he covers Buddy Holly on it, and find it interesting that he keeps the same feeling of joy (as he himself calls it) as the original, instead of doing his typical slower, more mellow thing.

Just found this, a solo show recoding for NPR:

1st listen through, it sounds pretty terrific. I'm not familiar with his other stuff, but I will definitely check him out now.

I am really getting into the new M Ward. Certainly different than Transistor Radio and Post War. The song with ex-Grandaddy Jason Lytle is terrific. The duet with Lucinda Williams is a bit drowsy though.
