Since I now feel comfortable with my new Farrar fan family, I can let you in on a little secret about my favorite Mexican hot spot. There's a little place in my hometown called "Taco Bell". It's fantastic. PM me if you'd like directions.

If they don't serve Mole, I refuse to call them a Mexican Restaurant.
That Taco Bus is great Doug, but no way they play any Farrar there. More than likely Tropical 760.

Calling Chipotle a mexican restaurant is like saying Gram Parsons is the father of alt-country.

Well, hell, if this is going to become the 'Mexican restaurants better than Chipotle' thread, El Taconazo, affectionately known as the Taco Bus a few blocks from my house, is better than all 3.

hey,. when in doubt i would always go with the non-chain place. but i thought this was the "Mexican
chain restaurants better than Chipotle" thread?
actually, we ate at a fantastic place Saturday night in Grapevine, Tex., called Esparza.
but as chains go ... I like baja fresh
and as bands go, I like Uncle Tupelo

1st song on the rotation at Bicyle Club in Mobile, AL last night.
"Handshake Drugs"
few songs later
"D Boon"
1st time I have ever heard Uncle Tupelo in a public setting.
About time.
I complimented the bartender/playlist maker.

I've been hearing Jay or Jeff every time I go into the Chipolte in La Grange, IL, too. I thought the manager just had musical tastes similar to mine. Now that I know it's all Chipotles, I have to wonder who does their programming. Anyone on the board with any insite to the excellent music played at the former McDonald's franchise?

I was in line at Chipotle last week and heard Watch Me Fall. I've heard Moonshiner there before too - pretty cool to hear Uncle Tupelo somewhere other than my headphones or car speakers.
UT @Chipotle

Of all things it coulda been, turned out to be Moonshiner. Seems I never fail to hear Jeff or Jay every time I go there. Super cool.
