interpolating

Post by gb68 »

I turned on to Interpol when I checked Antics out
from the Bookmobile about two years ago.
I bought their first one and some other songs after that
and I bought the new one the week it came out.
I'm really impressed with their songwriting.

I just posted about seeing them with my son
in the "What was your first concert?" thread.
They were fantastic when I saw them July 28 in Detroit.
I think their bass player and drummer make for a
totally powerhouse team.

It's good to see there are other Interpol fans here.
I'm not too surprised really,
it's all pretty good stuff as far as I'm concerned.

I really like Turn on the Bright Lights. Whenever I hear it I'm reminded of a serious trip to Chicago. There's something hyperurban about the whole sound. Haven't heard the new one yet but have heard only good things about it.

Aye, I like them well enough too. Antics is a great little album and the newest one, which I just got, is looking like another keeper.

Okay I know this isn't really a Jay band, but what does everyone think of these guys. A few of my friends really dig them. I've just started listening to them. I'm working my way through the Antics album right now. I have to say, not too bad if you're into that sort of thing. Anyone else love em or hate em?
