I love the new Wilco... And I don't usually like Wilco. Which might explain why many Wilco purist don't like the cd. It's too straight forward. But I dig stuff that makes a little sense. I like Tweedy's solo stuff, but unlike most folks--I don't like the full band albums so much. I'm sure they are great live though.

RA's new one, on the other hand, has dissapointed me. And I love RA--but I don't like his new direction. I guess every musician can only put out so much great stuff... The well usually goes dry, at least for spells...

now I'll get torched for that but...

I don't think sky blue sky is that great, it sags a bit in the middle but it is still pretty decent and better than the other two.

Man you have bad taste.
Still trying to figure out what your taste is.

All you do is whine about how you don't like certain albums, but you never exactly say what you do like.

Someone piss on your Wheaties every morning?
I smell the potential for a good thread topic: "Guess What Bill's Taste in Music Is". While the clues are scant to date, there is just enough to provide lively speculation. But then again, maybe no one cares! :D

...I rate this thread as "alternatively emo".

Wow, you really are a jackass. Grow up.

Oh, and by the way, this is a Son Volt message board. Nothing else should be talked about....ever. You're the one that started a thread with Wilco in it this time, moron.

I tend to think they are two of the best. Oh well, you can always enjoy that new Bon Jovi album. That is probably more your speed.
