I own a lot of DVD's and this one takes them all! (Roger Waters Live in the Flesh is a close 2nd).

But, man was this DVD done well. My hat's off to the whole crew that put this together for the fans. I'm sure it's selling well. I can't believe how amazing they were.

I can definately see a blues influence in Jay's new disk and have noticed in the past he has used blues style harmonica. Led Zeppelin took blues music and made it rock with a new life. I love the DVD especially the 1969 tv special and the encores from the 1970 Albert Hall show.

I agree. A great DVD. The only show on it that doesn't completely floor me is the one from '79. They just kind of seemed to be going through the motions there. Otherwise its stunning. Bonzo was the hammer of the gods, especially on "Moby Dick".

i think if everyone was honest,
anyone into rock born after 1970 was influenced by zep in some way.
for better or for worse they are inescapable.
sure the influence on jay might be a stretch to hear, but i am sure he at one moment in his life rocked out to zep in his teen years...

me, i am so sick of zep i could never hear them again and be very happy...

Not sure I see the influence on UT and SV but it is a great DVD.

Led Zeppelin DVD

Has anybody seen it yet? I have watched 2 or 3 times now and still haven't seen it all. The early Led Zep was mighty I get a funny feeling watching them when they were young. The music seems so tight and the musicianship is superb. I have many old rock VHS, Stones, Sabbath, Beatles, Bowie, NY Dolls and the like and this new Zep DVD just kills me. There is an acoustic segment that is ultimate, you can see their influence on bands like UT and Son Volt. Check it out.
