I don't think anyone here thought that was your first post, you are trying to fool us. Seriously.

Thanks, about the sig. It's actually from a song I wrote about my great grandpa... Sadly, I'm not that K-fed. I'd say that's a good thing, though.

Like your signature Kev. Just read Tiny E's posts and you should be able to figure that out.

I'm new to this too. I strongly agree with the person who suggested Straitaways and Wide Swing Tremelo. Every song from Caryatid Easy to Long Slow Fade is brilliant. Medicine Hat, Questions, And Driving the View are genious. Actually, their are no bad songs on either album. Jay did a good job of covering the spectrum of Son Volt on the last tour. I wish he would do some UT like 15 Keys, Stat True, Still Be Around, or really anything. That's what rocks about his tours, either solo or SV: every song kicks ass!

Welcome. You are in the right place because ONLY music is discussed here.

I've been considering it for a while, and after hearing his last album, I think I will.

Pick up Straightaways and Wide Swing

Do yourself a favor and pick up Straightaways and Wide Swing Tremolo. Trace is a classic but so are those. Don't believe the naysayers that say they're not as good - they are.
