It's true. Horton's becoming the first official husband in the band.
I'm next, I reckon. I Haven't set a date yet, but Horton definitely gets the deed done tomorrow. Tonight, I had to buy some nice clothes for the wedding. My pre-existing "nice clothes" don't fit, since I downsized, via Dr. Atkins' diet.
I'm washing the newly purchased "nice clothes", as I type...

Most people do Atkins wrong. Gotta read the book. Gotta reintroduce the right kind of carbs.
Can't stay "all protein" forever.
You'd starve to death, like native Americans, in the springtime.
Rice? Beans? I'll take it.
Sugar? White flour? Never again.

good for you Brian! I knew about the not drinking part, but we haven't seen you around here in awhile, so I hadn't heard about the Atkins. I hope your heart is healthy. I don't understand how you can eat nothing but protein and not have an overworked liver and heart, but I'm sure you know best.

My weight loss came in two phases...
Phase I: Quit drinking, and went from 213, to 190.
Phase II: Went on Atkins, went from 190, to 153.
Wahoo!

I saw the Bottle Rocket last Fri in KY, great show. I thought they had a roadie, I had no idea that was Brain until they got ready to start the show. Brain has dropped 50 to 60 pds, hope everything is ok and just on a diet.

Thanks for the heads up!

That would have been no fun. Driving up only to find I was there the wrong day.

I checked his site and the RiverSplash site -- They both have him playing Tomorrow night. I'm not sure of the time.

Yeah, but it's a good thing they quit when they did. It was coming down in sheets about 5 minutes after they stopped. We got lucky and made it to the garage just in time.

John, I think BB King is playing sunday, but not sure.

They also played
River Town, I'll Be coming around, Hey Moon, Lucky Break, Man of Constant Anxiety, opened with Cartoon Wisdom...among others
And yeah, Brian was ripping it up on the 'ol guitar and bass player Robert Kearns is as cool as they come.. He's a hell of a player and has great stage prescence.. It was cool seeing drummer Mark Ortmann and some of his family there. .. Brian also mentioned that Ortmann was THE ONLY drummer he has ever played with, even when he had his first cover band... pretty neat.. Festus, MO. was well represented...
Just a great night.. wish they would have played longer....
