Love the BRox. Have lost touch last 2-3 years. Need to get that new album. Great to see Mendocino on that seltist. An old Coffee Creek classic! Brian sang it great.

I had a feeling Bottle Rockets content might be okay here. Here is their acoustic set I recorded at Americana Fest in 2011 if you missed it a few years ago:

The Bottle Rockets
October 14, 2011
The Rutledge
Nashville, TN

Source: CA-14c> CA-9100> Sony PCM D50 (24/48)
Transfer: PCM D50> Audacity> CdWave> TLH (flac level 8)

01. Intro
02. Gravity Fails
03. 1000 Dollar Car
04. Get Down River
05. Banter
06. Young Lovers In Town
07. Smoking 100s Alone
08. Lucky Break
09. Kit Kat Clock
10. Dinner Train to Dutchtown
11. Queen of the World
12. Mendocino

Brian Henneman - guitar, banjo, vocals
Mark Ortmann - drums
Keith Voegele - bass

This acoustic set was part of the Americana Music Festival & Conference.

Go see The Bottle Rockets and buy their merch. Support taper-friendly bands.

Thanks for the update Beat. $25 for an hour of the Bottle Rockets is a little out of my price range.

Got tix to see Lucero/ Ryan Bingham show in Cincy on Sunday! :D

It was 15.00 here. Marshall... well, just google him is all I can say... not my jam.

the BRoxs did a solid hour opening set, then a 15min break, then back on with Crenshaw for a little over an hour. they did not do any BRoxs material during Crenshaw's set.

I was tempted to leave about 10mins into Crenshaw's set, the Broxs were solid backing band though, they sounded great all night long. If I remember correctly Brian didn't sing at all during that set.

They are playing in Newport, KY; this Friday. However is $25 and they're opening and playing with Marshall Crenshaw [sp?]. I'm not that familiar with Marshall.

Caught the guys last night in Asheville, their set was smokin' hot. They got a new album that's wrapped and coming out soon.
Go check them out if they come to your town.

Got a little video from the evening:

Remember back when Brian would come around these parts some?
