hi,
We're actually from Scotland. In truth, my Swedish accent needs a bit of work

hi,
Further to the messages above, we now have a new EP which can be downloaded for free at
www.fakegods.bandcamp.com Apologies as there are no Son Volt songs on this one, so I hope I'm not spamming (the EP won't give itself away)
Any feedback would be gratefully received.
Warmest Regards to everyone,
Alex

Your version of Windfall is ok but some of the other songs on your Bandcamp link sound more suited to you, especially Shattered and The 28.

Nice cover version, feels true to the original. Don't pay attention to Drummer, clearly he's cloth-eared.

I hope it’s ok to put up a quick post about my band Fake Gods - I promise this is not spam as it is Son Volt related. We have covered 'Windfall' on an album of demos entitled ‘Wine To Water’ which can be streamed or downloaded for free in its entirety at
www.fakegods.bandcamp.com
‘Wine To Water’ also features 3 of our own compositions along with covers from many other favourites such as The The, R.E.M, Richard Shindell, and the Tragically Hip.
Our website
www.fakegods.com has a short biography explaining who we are, what we do, our influences, etc. We have begun to write for our first album proper, and we intend to book studio time and work with a producer on this project in due course (recording everything ourselves was just too much hassle and distraction).
I would really appreciate any feedback whatsoever via the website, good or bad as this is our first foray into the world of writing and recording. Bear in mind though that these are just demos!
Cheers,
Alex
