ok
the Letterman performance was OK...
I have a great compilation of Trace era performances from a Master Beta tape from MTV Networks (I used to work there)...3 or 4 takes each of Tear Stained Eye, Windfall, Route, a few more...Mike Heidorn is playing with brushes on a cardboard box...and there's 2 really classic interviews with the whole band...the VJ's are unfuckinbelieveablyhorrible innane and clueless...and the band knows it...it's the raw tape and it's classic...runs about 2 hours...from 1996 or so.
If anyone wants to trade for it...send me a message.

I doubt the keyboard player is going on tour, probably just for the show. But if he does go on tour, we could get a full band version of World Waits for You!
I also noticed Jay's wobblyness. I think he was just nervous, it sounded fine, and is understandable. When was the last time he played on TV? Has he ever played for a TV audience that large?

Good performance, but it sounded like Jay's voice was a little wobbly at times. Chris Frame is awesome, but we all knew that. Only thing I'm not sure about is the keyboard player. Just doesn't feel right having a keyboard player in the band even if it is just for the tour. I'd rather see Heywood along so they could mix in more of the older stuff.
