Last time I saw him, Jon had a set list.

However, one of the bonuses of seeing an artist in a small intimate setting is the fact that they often chat with the audience, play requests, etc.

If you want to see the same set night after night, go see Mellencamp. When you print up a "tour book" and put a setlist in it, you are pretty freaking locked in.

And gdavis is right....heed your own advice and quit being a douchebag.

Jon got up and just took requests from the audience. I hate that. Didn't work off a set list. Played songs half way thru etc. Total disappointment.

No polish or professionalism at DTR/Jon S. shows. Too bad cause the talents there. Taking yourself seriously is not a bad thing....
Take some of your own advice....

Dude,
I would respect your willingness to say what you feel to someone if you didn't use an alias. We all know who 'jon' is but coming down with harsh criticism of him under 'monkeygunner', gets no respect. Not that I expect or want, the 2 of you to have a face to face confrontation, but that's what i hate about message boards, the lame names. Unless you live your real life as <message board name>, don't do it on the internet either.

We always miss VT. It'll happen someday. Cory has suggested me coming up there with him before.

It's gonna be me and Mr. Cory Branan.
I was hoping to play HOH this year too. Doesn't look like it's gonna work out though. Sucks. Have a good show..tour..
Sharing a bill with ya would have been fun, but if not..audience works too.
Enjoy yourself.

The Corner and Survivor Blues are two of my favorites from that session...and Cory's Sultana song is far superior to another one floating around here...
Yeah, good stuff there thanks.

Jon - I do the Koren dive expo every year, and those just happen to be the dates for 2010....which sucks, cause I would much rather hang out with you and Cory.
