Me and the boys have been walking every night since Dec 28, and it's getting colder.

Beautifully clear tonight, stars and all the consellations (sic). Means a real bad snow is going to hit us in the city. Topple all these arguments about the gulf flooding due to hurricanes. Wait until snow falls.

Sometimes we stopped because I lost my breath. Heaving 30 degrees already. Felt like I was in the mountains again.

3-layers, no light, and a dog-sled,

Pony

p.s. By the way (BTW), BTW I got a fat set of new running shoes today. Sauconys for the Ponies, babs! Like I'm on stilts of foam.

I checked my memory against the newspaper via internet. I was slightly off. 1977 (actually stayed on the ground!), 1983 and 1989. Not a bad memory for an old grey-haired curmudgeon.

I can remember it snowing once, maybe twice, when I was a lad in Port Richey. This was pre-1975. It also snowed in Tampa once sometime around 1985/86. I was coming out of the old Eckerd Drugs on Fowler near 275.

Nothing more than light flurries in both instances. It seemed to melt before it hit the ground.

Give us a report, Ben.

Not where I live, but maybe up in Grifterland. Still, it's cold here.
