I post on Via Chicago infrequently and have found that there are just as many cool people there as there is here. Plenty of knobheads too but you get that in every place, not just internet message boards.

I have gotten a few trades and such from people there and never had a cross word with anyone there. All this Jeff/Jay hating is childish anyway.

And it seems that some people here have problems with their toilet humor. :D

Actually, I'd speculate that the percentages are about the same--although there seems to be quite a few "new" Wilco fans over there who don't have any real opinions about Jay, SV, or UT. (And I'd say the Jeff-hating is much stronger here than the Jay-bashing over there.)

I love the band, but those Wilco videos are all pretty lame. In their defense, all of the cheesy "produced" videos are from either A.M. or Being There, made at a time when cheesy videos were pretty much the norm. (And aren't they still?) The YHF and AGIB clips are just re-edited bits from the documentary or other live footage. They are much easier to take.

I like the one for Outtasite where they are skydivers. Too funny.

I have seen a video for Outtasite and Shot In The Arm. Pretty ropey stuff to be honest.

It's just one guy and an acoustic but he can sure batter the heck out of it. Makes for some frantic strumming!

I love his songs....he is just a one man angry voice.

Hamel on Trial? I keep hearing about them. What do you like about them? Guess I should check them out. No tunes on ITunes though, Damn!

I like Wilco. And I buy and listen to more music than I probably should. I wasn't so crazy about A Ghost Is Born, but I do admit, those songs do sound pretty good live.

I wish I could find the demos for Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, which I have somehow misplaced. They are really great. I like them more than the actual album.

Just my stupid hungover two cents.
