I picked up Hobo's Demos today--couldn't believe I found their whole catalogue all in one store--and from the first couple songs I've heard, these guys are damn good. Much better than I expected.

And I gotta say, DTR and Two Cow would be a killer show...

untilisayso, I'm with you in that Drag the River brought me to Alt. Country.

At first I was into punk and liked bands like Lagwagon and Bad Astronaut, who covered an Armchair Martian Song. So I listened to Armchair Martian and loved the sound. I later heard on DTR and really liked their work. I was surprised when I found out a memeber was in another punk band, ALL. It's funny how things come together like that.

I have a hard time choosing a favorite. Their albums are consistently good. I started with "Hobo's Demos"... so I guess I would have to recommend that one.
