Lollapolooza 1994 @ the Saratoga Race Track, Saratoga Springs, NY.

The line up that I remember included:

Smashing Pumpkins
The Beastie Boys
George Clinton
The Breeders
Nick Cave

And there were a lot of "mud people." This was a few months before Woodstock '94 and it had rained during this concert, too.

Porter Wagoner.
On the flatbed of a semi trailer.
Early evening of the antique car/hot rod show
on Father's Day (i think it was Father's Day)
At the Rooster Run General Store just outside Bardstown, Kentucky

I think i must've been 6 or 7 at the time.

He had on a blue sequined Nudie suit.

It was awesome.

U2 on their POP Mart Tour, at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. I was 12 or something like that. Rage Against The Machine opened.

I'm only 24, so my first show wasn't all that long ago.

September, 1995 - Soul Asylum/The Jayhawks/Victoria Williams/Matthew Sweet - Mann Music Center - Philadelphia, Pa.

Still one of the best shows I've ever seen, and with the exception of a single Radiohead gig, the best show I've seen at an outdoor ampitheatre-type venue.

pointer sisters - free friday nite concerts at crown center in kc, mo

followed shortly thereafter by blood, sweat & tears at the same venue

first real concert at over 18 bar:

REO Speedwagon/Survivor/Zebra 1985 (Municipal Auditorium, Nashville, TN)..at age 13.

Great show...Zebra's drummer kicked much ass and had a lot to do with me starting the drums!

The first concert was The Police with Joan Jett opening at the Checkerdome. I think in 1981.
