I was never that close with Scott, but I remember him as a cool and caring person who left way too early, even though it was years in the making.

R.I.P.

Man, what shitty news. I remember his posts very well. . If I recall, his signature was even a tag line showing support for Dev's son and his battle against cancer. Not sure how old Scott was, but he was way too young to go. My dad is going thru a battle with Stage 4 kidney cancer as we speak, so my thoughts go out to his family and friends (you among them GDavis).

Cancer fucking sucks.

I never knew Scott but I remember his posts back in the sort of heyday of this message board. And I remember him rallying around Devronika's son Zane and his battle with cancer. Very sorry to hear of Scott's passing. Thanks for the note here. He deserved a shout out on this board.

Sad to say Scott passed away over the weekend. He kicked cancer's ass for the last 5 years. He was a huge music fan and absolutely loved Jay and Son Volt. I was fortunate enough to hang out with him on several occasions. One of my most memorable experiences was driving from Tampa to Tallahassee to see Son Volt with him. We partied and stayed with Grifterwithafunnylittlehat and Babydoll. I remember playing a bunch of music for him on the drive that he had never heard before like Two Cow Garage, Glossary and Drag The River. I guess he really liked it because he would become good friends with several of these musicians. I wish I would have spent more time with him but work, kids and family consumed me. As Scott used to say Fuck Cancer.
