It's definitely not a Mac issue, as I'm on a humble little pc. I think it's a permissions issue...I PM'd an admin so we shall see what s/he says. I just wanted to have the Honky Tonk album cover as my avatar.

well, i have the same problem and have resigned myself to not being worried
about it. i have decided that it's probably do to using a Mac. i would be curious to know if it is a Mac user problem or if i am simply inept.
choosing an avatar is an overwhelming thing for me anyway.

I have a jpeg which is 80x80 and only 2.29 KB but, as you can see, won't display ...any help would be great...thanks

edit: I also have HTML and Smilies enabled, but I can't see how that would even affect posting an avatar (I'm no techie though)
