Voted "Best telecaster player in Metro-St. Louis." Great on multiple instruments, but his voice might be his best! Great on country, folk, bluegrass, gospel--could probably melt hearts with love songs?

I thought I was going to have a heart attack when he played the first few notes. Excellent show in Evanston. I agree about "the new guy." Nice to hear mandolin again and his slide guitar. Weird not to know who he was. Jay did introduce him, but all I caught was his first name.

Geared up for the Turf Club tonight.

Oh, and so cool that he is continuing to play "Still Be Around" this round.

Nice to meet you LPV. Hope to see you again at another show somewhere in the Midwest or who knows.
Sounds like a wonderful night. Sigh, jealous as heck. Have a wonderful time arambler and swoon a little bit for us ladies.
Cind, oh, I did plenty of swooning for all of us ladies I think.  And the Saint Paul show was even more amazing than Evanston. The audience was really responsive and both "Tear Stained Eye" and "Windfall" became sing-alongs with Jay even stepping away from the mic to let us take it. Then he stepped back and said "Good job." Whew. Pretty much the same set list as both Iowa City and Evanston, except the cover was "It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels." How cool is that? I'm counting down till Newport, KY, next week. Eeeee.... :D

Nice to see Gary Hunt get out on the road with Jay. Giving Jay that slightly different sound than that of Mr. Spencer giving us all something to talk about!

Man, I bet it's been a while since Out of the Picture. That would've been sweet to see.
