Pea, I swear that guy was behind me a few months ago when REK played down here.
PS How was that show?
i was disappointed that Hayes Carll didnt have his band behind him
but Keen's band more than made up for it
especially the guitar player
he seemed to have a bit of classical training with his playing
he is a very good guitar player
& Robert Earl Keen has a big head...
as did 60% of the crowd

How'd the leg look? Up-skirt or was she wearing pants? Probably pants this time of year, I guess.
I've said it before but I just cant stand the crowds at Wilco shows nowadays. The pre-YHF crowd was night and day compared to the little shits today in their argyle sweaters vests and shiny chuck taylors. You cant even get a contact high anymore at most Wilco shows.
At one of the 3 Wilco shows at The Pageant last May, I forget which night, 2 yahoos were standing back by the balcony bathrooms gabbing about sci-fi!! At least they were back away from the rest of us but they were talking so loudly, it was annoying. I had enough and told my wife that I was saying something to 'em. I turned and yelled, "Shut the fuck up or go to ComiCon!!". I actually had people thank me and the 2 geeks apologized!
i shot a gabby with my laser eye in the middle of the trucker's fine set at the pageant last night....she had to hold back the tears....dance club's down the street, girlie.....this is a rock show....fists in the air....I do what can....
at a Robert Earl Keen/Hayes Carll show thursday
the pinhead behind us was singing
to every god damn song in REK set...what torture
i would of turned around & let loose
but the gal the zipperhead was with
had me by 30lbs........& i am a semi stout man
wouldnt of done my ego anygood
to have my ass kicked by a woman
other than the wifetype
Great show the other night in Northampton............weird thing was some of the highlights of the night were songs I don't normally care for like
Via Chicago
Shot in The Arm
Heavy Metal Drummer
anyway Jesus Etc was fraking stunning as well as Mountain Bed.........course I was an ass during Mountain Bed I think but you make the call............next to me were a couple on a date, probably high schoolers, during the warm up band they talked the whole time and he's running his hand up her leg etc..... so I did not hear much of that band.........and I'm thinking this better not go on during Tweedy. So Tweedy comes on and they don't talk quite as much but then Jeff go's into Mountain Bed and they start at it again. (We are near the very back) ABout half way through the song I could not take it any longer and I leaned over to him and said "HEY ENOUGH"..........well it worked for almost the rest of the set but I felt kind of bad about it.......but hey I didnt drive 110 miles to listen to that bull shit...................
