Mmmm.. Neko Case. Without a doubt, the most beautiful voice on the planet. That may sound extreme to some but that is the extent to which she tickles my fancy.
My wife and I have an ongoing argument about the hotness of redheads. She says there are only two red-haired women who are, or were, beautiful. Ann-Margaret, circa Bye Bye Birdie, and Tawney Kitaen, circa the Whitesnake video era. I agree with both of those.
I say that there are lots of beautiful redheads, but for the most part, redheads are one extreme or the other. They are either stunningly beautiful or they are butt ugly. I think Neko Case falls into the former category.
So, I got the new Paste issue and showed my wife. I said "Do you think she's pretty?" My wife looks at it for a couple of seconds and says "Mmm, no."
I just laughed and thought to myself, "That's OK. Neko says you're a bitch."
After Jspill mentioned something about the latest Neko cover of Teh Paste, I wondered where my edition was in the mix.
Has anybody else noticed how the USPS has lagged on the magazine delivery? I have eleven subscriptions, and every one was late and lagging in the Dec/Jan time frame. I started wondering if I had let stuff run out.
I love redhead singer-songwriters who do what they do no matter what.
