My presets.
Xm Cafe 45 - Pretty much what the name implies Adult Album Rock
Fred 44 - officially listed as Classic Alternative - but they play mostly new-wave alternative and british alternative from the 80's - Echo and The Bunnymen, Cure, etc.
The Loft 50 - Like the Cafe more acoustic minded stuff though. You can catch a few Son Volt songs here
The Village 15 - Folk music - also home to Bob Dylans Theme time radio hour
X Country 12 - Home to Son Volt, Fred Eaglesmith, Joe Ely, Cross Canadian Ragweed, etc
Fungus 53 - punk - all the time, from Sex Pistols to All to Green Day to Flogging Molly
Ethel 47 - Sort of like your local pretend "Alternative" station without the commericals, you'll get Pearl Jam, Arcade Fire, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Weezer, Panic! At The Disco, Raconteurs, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead, The Killers
90's 9 - all 90's all the time, some good (Soul Asylum), some not so good (Gerardo)
BBCA (cant remember the #) - Mostly for news
Lucy 54 - All classic alternative, REM, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, they occasionally play Drown
XM Comedy 150- Just raunchy comedy all the time... not for riding with the kids
The Rhyme 65 - also no kids, this chanel is programmed by Snoop Dog
Cinemagic 27 - Movie clips, soundtrack songs and occasional interviews of directors of new releases
Top 20 on 20 20 - top 20 all the time
U-Pop 29 - Mostly top of the foreign (Europe) charts
The Verge 52 - Really good chanel, one of my favorites, imagine a good college chanel that plays only canadian bands and that it what you have here.
Hear Music 75 - Starbucks foray into Music programming - pretty much what you see them selling on the shelves at the store, but not a bad selection, they were the first to play any stuff from Okemah
80's 8 - all 80's
On Broadway 28 - showtunes.... hey what can I say - I am unashamed
XMU 43 - This and the verge get most of my attention when I don't feel like searching the dial. Pure college music with an occasional forray into some live shows - they did live from SXSW last week and broadcast most of the Austin City Limits fest last year. They are officially listed as Indie/College/Unsigned.

Hope you enjoy the XM, I have had mine over 4 years and find it unbearable when travelling to be stuck in a car rental with no XM.

From changing it? Ha!

Fucking radio is a pain in the ass....changing stations every 4 or 5 minutes.
Way too many choices. You can surf what other channels have on, so you are always looking for something better.

Yeah, I always have the same problem.
It's in my wife's car, so I hardly drive it. I don't think I'd bother in my own car. Besides, I'd have been in a wreck by now. 8)

It used to be in my wife's car but then.......well, nevermind.
Anyone sense a country music style sad story developing?

That's Ben's excuse for not having a steady boyfriend.
