I'm hoping I can change, but if I run short on time, I'll be pretty obvious. I'm hoping SV doesn't start before 11:00, if they do, I might be cutting it close. I'm only about six blocks away though. If I get a good head of steam going, I could trip at the MAC and roll all the way to Miss. Nights.

see y'all there

edit: strem is not a word, but steam is

Well at least you won't have to wear a yellow sticky note, we'll just look for a guy in a suit... :)

Really? That'd be excellent. Probably Dade, Kip and a drummer. Johnny will playing with the Bottle Rockets. Blasted xmas party  I won't get there until later. The one time a year I wear a suit.

order of performance

I think a trio from the Rockhouse Ramblers will be warming up. Brother Dade Farrar on bass?

I was just guessing, but it made sense. Acoustic>Electric. Who knows, maybe Brian will demand to open and do an acoustic set.

The best part of this show is: Nobody knows what will happen.

That's pretty cool.

If I leave here tomorrow...

What a great line up. You guys are really fortunate.
I wish Jay was coming up to the great white north...

Alot of us hosers up here could use some good music.

I think it's 1.Anders, 2.Buckner, 3.Jay, 4.Bottle Rockets, 5.Son Volt, 6."collaboration". But not positive. With 6 sets, I doubt anybody will play more than an hour. A collaboration of these guys could mean anything could and probably will happen. Personally, I'm hoping for Freebird.

cheers

Order of bands for Mound City

Post by homegrown »

Does anyone know the order of the bands for the Mound City Music Fest?

How long will each performance get?

Do you think there is any chance that Heywood will be there?

Do you think Anders Parker and Jay will do Ander's song called "Feel the same"? Jay does backing vocals on this song on the record. The entire record is great but it is easily my favorite song. It's very moving and just plain beautiful!!!

5 days and counting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
