i drove from stl to sc for this concert (well i caught son volt & buick mckane in nc as well on the way). it was freaking cold and rainy and it made it hard to enjoy the day. i think i remember some members of wilco actually wearing the shirts but not sv. i picked one up from a website soon after the concert but you won't be seeing it on Ebay. on the tapes i have of these sets you can really hear the wind in the speakers - it was that crappy of a day. i'm pretty sure i remember seeing cracker and the jayhawks play that day as well.

The story he tells is the story I heard. I wasn't there so I can't tell you if it's true. It's believable, though, that was both of their sentiment at the time.
