Dead tribute

I'm sick to death of Box of Rain. I saw The Dead a few summers ago and Phil tried singing it. Lawd it was horrible. Anyway...
I'm glad they're also doing Workingman's Dead, as Dire Wolf is one of my all time favorites. Ripple would be good for Jay, but EVERYBODY is going to want that song. Brokedown Palace is another uber favorite Dead song, but I don't know how Jay would be on that one.
At least this should be interesting.

I concur with the idea of Jay covering the entire album. If I was pressed to choose I would vote for "Box of Rain".I was just talking to a friend of mine a few days ago about how those two albums were great albums even for guys like us who don't like listening to the dead live shows.
Is there any history of Mr. Farrar covering the Dead ? I couln't dig anything up.

Another tribute show for jay--grateful dead, what song from american beauty do you think he will play? sugar magnolia? ripple?
