My turn...
Rock*A*Teens-now defunct Cabbagetown,GA band(the main guy Chris Lopez now fronts Tenement Halls which is somewhat alike)who did reverb soaked Phil Spector inspired garage surf teenage doom rock.Their first two albums came out on Amy Ray`s Daemon label(Kelly Hogan played guitar for them back then)and the other albums were on Merge.I think their best might be Golden Time but all the records sound good to my ears.
Hazeldine-they`ve been mentioned around here before but if you have`nt heard them check them out.One of the best alt country bands that no one has heard of.New Mexico band of 3 women with nice voices.Their Orphans album is all cover songs from Gram Parsons to Genesis.
The Fluid-Now defunct Colorado band.MC5 inspired rock
everyone needs their Purplemetalflakemusic album.
