I run a Mac, so I encode the tracks into iTunes using AAC, then transfer to my iPod. I also burn a hard copy of the original Aiff files onto cd-r, to serve as a lossless backup to iTunes.

This is great news. I'm also glad to see he'll be back at the Variety Playhouse. Maybe that means there's more support for him here after all - since he'd moved to the Echo Lounge his second time here on the last tour.

Jay just needs to stop messing around with this experimentation (it's not working...) and go back to what works. If that means more Whiskey Bottle-type tunes, then go for it. It couldn't hurt.
