Re: Brian Henneman Retirement
A guitar player in a country cover band? Sounds like a Coffee Creek reunion to me!

Colonel Ford opener
While purchasing tickets to the June show in Indy, I noticed that Colonel Ford is listed as the opener.
Please forgive me if this has already been discussed, but does Jay play with them when they open SV shows?

"change in the air"
There is a new posting by Dave on the SV blog stating that things will be getting more interesting because "change is in the air." My guess is another lineup change. Any other guessers?

I remember the SV theft like it was yesterday. They were supposed to play The Vogue in Indianapolis. I drove down for the show and there was a paper taped to the door that said something like, "All of the band's equipment was stolen last night in Chicago. The show has been postponed until a later da...

You are right that musicians probably SHOULD carry disability insurance. However, like the public in general, most of them probably do not. If I were in their shoes, I would try to purchase a policy that covered "own occupation", meaning it would pay if they couldn't perform their current occupation...

That was such a great book. An interesting story about that (at least I think so). I was riding in a car with a friend of mine one day and he starts telling me how one time, when his dad used to drive RV's for an RV dealer, he picked up this kid in Canada and drove him to Alaska. Anyway, as he descr...

First of all, thank you for making me aware of the term "rhythm guitar." I hadn't run across that one before. The link was especially helpful! Thanks again. In my defense, it is written that way probably 20 different times, so I thought maybe there was such a thing. The album is Matthew Sweet...

"thythm" guitar?
Okay, I feel stupid even asking, but here goes anyway.
I recently bought an album where the credits refere to a "thythm guitar." What the heck is that?
Thanks!
