Two missing songs?!

I received the disc Friday and ir should be out soon. I've burned them both and the sound quality is nothing short of excellent on both the Son Volt and Uncle Tupelo shows. However, I came across something a bit disconcerting... According to the song list, the Uncle Tupelo set should go : 01 True To...

I'm realizing I'm pretty partial to the early Son Volt/ late UT years, myself. I like the solo stuff - as a whole - but in terms ...

In an effort to clear my good name, let me explain... I got the CD in August (I checked the thread, and saw my a post I wrote on August 10 - the day I received the CD), and as promptly as I could, I converted the tracks, burned them onto CD as .wav files and sent the original disc to the next on the...

Just finished Satanic Verses which for all the "death decrees" it got from fundamentalist Muslims is actually pretty darn funny. A little hard to follow perhaps... Reading Michael Parenti's History as Mystery now. I'm interested to hear a review of the new Krakauer book on the fundamentalist Mormons...

i'm not quite getting the picture. is it a digipak, with a plastic tray inside the cardboard folder? or is it more like a cardboard sleeve, a'la being there (only less convoluted). ~fygmynt Yes, it's more like Being There only more minimal. Basically, it's just like a sleeve for an LP only reduced ...

Great, great book. Banks' best, at least of the ones I've read (Rule of the Bone, his short stories, something else I can't remember...).

I may be biased, however, as I lived for a while in upstate New York where it takes place. John Brown, what a guy.

I received the disc from Neal yesterday and burned my copies this morning. I'm waiting on the address of the next on the list and should be able to get them in the mail soon. Listening to Disc One right now. Sounds great! The vocals are a touch bassy, but you get used to that quickly (and I'm sure i...

Re: Timeline

Check your timeline ClubFoot Sandwich by the time the Beatles cut those songs the Stones had several albums of original music in the can. Well, but Satisfaction, The Last Time, and several of the other "hits" you mention were far more blues-derivative than what the Beatles were doing. Stuff like th...
