Ben Gibbard's vocals remind me of John Stiratt's (wilco bass player) vocal delivery.

And if you haven't listening to John's band The Autumn Defense I suggest you go now and listen.

I just got done listening to the album and I'm blown away. The flow of the whole album goes down easy and the lyrics of coarse a deep and inspiring. I'm gonna have to pay close note to the lyrics in my future album spins because there is just so much goin on.

This was definitely a great article to find some insight on the personal life of Ryan Adams, but I found this guy has no idea what honest, heart felt, and just plain damn good music is. You can't blame them for being pissed off. I always shed a tear when I hear some of my fav songs in a commercial. I just thank God I don't own a TV to watch it happen often.
