I can understand Mellencamp wanting to get exposure. There are not many opportunities for exposure other than touring your ass off, which wouldn't be a good idea at his age (didn't he have a heart attack when he was 8 years old from smoking too much?).

I just picked up the new Byrds Box Set "There is a Season"...some great country on the last few discs. I really like the song Tulsa County.
