Yeah, I thought they sounded great too! But man, they looked hot, I know I was. Does that setlist look accurate to you? I was going completely off of memory and shaky phone videos! :D

When Sebastopol came out, an interview in No Depression had him discussing how he sometimes goes for the sound of the words and phrasings and how they fit into the song, and not so much the meaning. Medicine Hat has always struck me that.

Beer run? Sounds like too much work to me. Call delivery.

That is, if the phone is close enough that I can reach it without getting up.

It's bad enough that I have to watch this Univision soap opera channel because the TV remote is on the other end of the couch.

I fucking adore this song....the wordplay in it alone is worthy of any writer currently working in music!

Medicine Hat is definitely one of my absolute favorite songs. Everyone should experience it.

My job had taken me to Huntsville that day. The city just came to a standstill, shell-shocked. I remember the flight home that night seemed like a funeral wake it was so quiet. I've always taken heart in believing that every member of that crew was doing what they had always wanted, living their dre...

Son Volt>6/22/96 (Chicago at the Metro)>Anodyne This is one of my all-time favorite boots, I've made many a copy for my non-trading friends. When taking a top-down curvy mountain road trip, I ALWAYS have disc 1 with me for the first five songs at least. Lucky as hell I haven't got a speeding or wre...
