That setlist is basically right...no Coltrane...

The encore was 2000 Light Years from Home, Windfall, Life Worth Livin', and Chickamauga.

STL Show

So...I know there was the one complaint about the show...but I had expected to see the set list posted, etc. I was there, but my friend that I was with snatched the set list. I did, however, after Damn Shame recieve Jay's harmonica. He kinda like tossed it to me.

So no complaints here.

I am excited to hear the album, but "You Are My Face" is kind of an...interesting... title. It worries me a bit.

I just got Zumpano--Goin' Through Changes.

Zumpano being Carl Newman's band before the New Pornographers.

Yeah...I was also just considering (and this is not saying that the album isn't going to be great)...but when did it change that an album, to be a good album, has to have incredibly brilliant songs song after song. Can't we just look at the album and say, "This one was good, this one...eh...but the ...

I would very much like to hear if it is something worth hearing and I am not just missing something.

Not gonna lie...I was really really really excited about this concert as I love Big Star (and obviously The Volt)....but I was rather annoyed to discover that it is a 21+ event. I guess that makes sense...but thanks a lot SoCo...

Sorry...felt like I needed to do that.

Station to Station

So I put in ThridShitfGrottoSlack today and I was reminded of how much I love the song "Station to Station."

My question is...have any of you ever heard Jay play this in concert, and if so, does anyone have an mp3 of a performance?

thanks
