Folks,
Does anyone have any information regarding tonight's show at the Bluebird?
1. Is there an opener?
2. What time has Jay been taking the stage lately?
The tickets claim showtime at 8pm.
Thanks,
Matty |

Great show last night.
Met Jay briefly afterwards, and pretty sure I told him that I loved him.
Opening act was solo singer/guitarist.
He took the stage around 8:30pm if memory serves.
Unsure of name, but worth checking out.
Chubby, tattoo'd, and a great voice.
I'll buy him a beer if I ever see him again.
Son Volt took the stage around 9:30pm, also if memory serves.
The whiskey was flowing freely, so the show highlights are partially foggy.
Chickamauga encore, that much I'm sure.
A good time was had by all. |

Sounds great. Jay Kardong from Sera Cahoone's band filling in for Spencer on steel. Spencer says he's playing the Son Volt gigs in the fall promoting the album. |

Wasn't there but I believe that would be cover of Doug Sahm's "Be Real." _________________ Spaulding get your foot off the boat! |

| Do you think Jay ever gets tired of Windfall and Tear STained Eye? Have those songs ever been absent from a SV set list? I love those songs, but I'd rather see him bring back some other Trace gems (Route, Loose String, Catching On, etc.). Also, no Straightaways or WST tunes. |
