So the music hall I volunteer at is closing it doors after a little less than 2 years. I am so bummed. Its like my girlfriend just broke up with me. I did over 100 shows which I am thankful for. Saw some really good ones as well as bad. Our little town and surrounding area can't support it.
So I bought tickets to see Wilco this summer as a breakup purge.............

Damn sucks, Manshanks. Here in Tallahassee, the Engine Roo
m shut down. Me and my friends saw Jay Farrar there solo twice
and Son Volt once. Maybe twice. Saw Midlake there definitely
Twice. Band of Horses but they wouldn't let me tape it. Saw
Mtn Goats and iron and wine ... and Travis from that major label
band that never made it for the long times ...Morrison was
His name...Dismemberment Plan!!!
Saw my friends' bands but now the engine won't rule,

The Name is Tupelo Music Hall. There are 2. The other one is located in Southern New Hampshire which has a much bigger population to draw from. If you look at their current schedule that is what we were getting in Vermont. Not the case any longer. We are now regulated to mostly "local" acts. Dark Star and Anna Popovic will be good ones coming up but than............kaput................after Chris Smither 7/21.

| That does bite ass. Things are a lot worse than some people believe. Not getting better anytime soon either... I think I heard somebody say the USA is 16 trillion in debt. Good toms! |
